Daylight before dawn!

As I was waking up this morning, it felt like an adjustment from the world of my dreams into the day, so I took a little time to ponder the messages of my dreams, weave them into the truth of my life, and feel ready to greet my new day.

My eyes greeted the sunshine as my heart and lungs started to expand.

At first, there were my dreams, then the sense of welcoming my new day~ the anticipation of whatever comes, then the simple words of psalm 139 like heaven's whispers spoken directly to my soul. I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Through my window, the sunlight with a vibrant glow of a new day started to whisper of a picture-perfect day awaiting me.

It felt like God put a love note in my thoughts before the sun had risen, so His Words could be my daylight before the dawn.

As I adventured in the words of Psalm 139, it was like a song that whispered to my soul, speaking of new things upon the horizon. It was like choosing my best thoughts, the same way I chose my best photographs; after all, my best albums were made from such moments of clarity and purpose.

I felt Love. Sweet love, like fresh fruit. Colorful love, as summer blossoms. Steady and forgiving love.

Love that hears and speaks with the wisdom of my heart.

Love that is my forever home, and it gives me the ability to fly freely and joyfully away and then return.

It inspired me to take these verses to meditate on, and to personalized them in 2 different ways, allowing His love letter to be written on my heart, to give me joy, love, peace, and strength, the kind that I once believed were the fables of legends.

My version 1, me speaking His words to me:

Father, You know everything there is to know about me.

You perceive every movement of my heart and soul, and You understand my every thought before it even enters my mind.

Father, You are so intimately aware of me.

You read my heart like an open book, and You know all the words I'm about to speak before I even start a sentence!

You know every step I will take before my journey even begins.

You've gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness, You follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past.

With Your hand of love upon my life, You impart a blessing to me.

This is just too wonderful, deep, and incomprehensible! Your understanding of me brings me wonder and strength.

You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother's womb.

I thank you, Father, for making me so mysteriously complex!

Everything You do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it!

How thoroughly You know me, Father!

You even formed every bone in my body when You created me in the secret place, carefully, skillfully shaping me from nothing to something.

Every single moment You are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that You cherish me constantly in Your every thought!

Oh Father, Your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, You're with me.

My version 2, Him speaking His words over me:

Take a deep breath. Shake off the heaviness. It's nothing more than a big lie.

Remember, you're free to laugh in the face of difficulties.

You are Free to dance yourself into freedom.

You are free to praise yourself into joy.

You are free to worship until God's Love helps you to release all of the emotions held in.

It's challenging to write a love letter, for when we do, the soul is naked, yet God does it again and again.

So these simple words of the psalm are a way to rescue my heart and soul because they mean so very much to me. No wonder it felt like God put a love note in my thoughts before the sun had risen, so His Words could be my daylight before the dawn.
