Safe is just another word for regret!

If it’s great , it ain’t cheap!

The other day I was having a conversation with my very dear friend, about a great quality treatment center,  it’s all natural and organic, very welcoming place to heal and get better...

Even though I was delightfully looking at what this place has to offer, my comment to her was , wow it must be expensive...Her answer was so refreshing and so eye opener to me, “well yeah it wouldn’t be this great, and of such high quality, if it would be cheap”

I have to admit that her comment just got imprinted on my mind..it kept turning and twisting in my thoughts...I couldn’t let go of the idea of : if it’s great , it ain’t cheap, for something to be amazing cannot be simply cheap.... this made me think and realize, that I can apply this principle in everything in my life...everything that has a great worth has a cost...and I do not think just of monetary value...time, energy, thoughts, feelings...anything that requires an investment of some kind.

I was thinking how easy is to slip into worry, anxiety or fears...how easy it is to get stuck on some negative or fearful though...yes, that’s the easy cheap way, the lazy way...in order to have those overruled, overwritten, or pushed out, I have to invest  in many things, from the energy of working up my faith, my trust, to speak God’s word, to believe it...in other words to be this great it won’t be cheap...

This came to mind “ if my God is for me who can be against me! Do not, therefore, fling away my fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward !

For I have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that I perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive, carry and enjoy to the full what is promised, have enough faith to believe in God!”

When it comes to eating and living healthy, same way... it’s not just how much money I spend , it’s the effort, the time, the preparation , the mentality, the whole deal...in order to be that good it cannot be cheap...

I read all of those self help books, and I realize, that in order for me to be that great, I cannot see change and growth cheap...it will be costly, but it will make me valuable ..when it comes to relationships, all those happy couples, who have those successful relationships, what they do, how they invest in each other, how they love, how they talk....now it makes sense , in order to be that good , it cannot be cheap...

This is such a beautiful portrait of how amazing it is to change and grow , to invest,  it helps me to understand the value of investment, of costing me something to have it that great, to have it that amazing.

And now understanding this, it takes a different spin for me on how safe it is really just another word for regret, that long term changes and greatnesses have a cost, but they are well worth the price...it helps me to see that when I have to get out of my comfort zone, and I have to make changes, or I stand at the threshold of decisions, or I have to go through growth, in order to be great, it simply cannot be cheap...it will cost me...and the cost is way well worth it...well this simple statement makes everything so amazingly beautiful and exciting...Looking back to these passing years, I can say with excitement , that right now, I can hardly believe all that was and is waiting for me, because I finally opened my heart,  I finally was and I am willing to invest, to pay the cost of greatness!!! ...

So darling if you want something great,  just accept it,  it cannot be cheap, and look forward with excitement , because you pay for the view, but the food is well worth the price!
