Iced Caramel Macchiato

I finally worked it out, I finally found the balance of paleo sweeteners and coconut cream, and it took few ingredients and five minutes to make. No real caffeine in it, but I’m OK with that...This paleo iced caramel macchiato is very rich and refreshing!

I used jnantic for my coffee, with a little bit of Inka ( barley coffee substitute drink from Poland), letting sit in the fridge for few hours, or can be in the freezer, if I am in a hurry. Of course coffee can also be used .

And here is the star of the show...
Caramel sauce!!!
I might say a very simple caramel sauce, but delightfully delicious sauce...
4 tbsp of maple syrup, 1 tbsp organic butter and 2 tbsp of coconut cream..that’s it....Heat up first just the pan, add the maple syrup but do not whisk, add the butter, and just gently swirl in the maple syrup, once mixed add the cream and whisk all together, till all ingredients are combined.
I have to say that this paleo caramel sauce is so quick and easy but so rich and so delicious. It ismy favorite paleo caramel sauce out there!
You can keep the sauce in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, or at room temperature for a few days.
If desired, using a spoon, you can drizzle a bit of caramel sauce on the inside of your glass. I drizzled a little of bit on the bottom of mine as well..Fill glass with ice then pour over your choice of milk. I used the coconut cream. Then pour your kind of cold brew over, and stir in 2-3 tablespoons caramel sauce.
I promise you , this is so refreshing and so perfectly sweet, you’ll want to indulge in it all summer long!
