Túrós Csusza aka my healthy Hungarian Mac and Cheese

Túrós csusza aka Hungarian mac and cheese is a very beloved comfort Hungarian food, and for good reasons ~it’s creamy, it’s filling and it’s delicious !!!

I use in my recipe healthier, digestion and figure friendly ingredients...GF organic super grain pasta, real feta made from sheep or goat milk , paleo non dairy sour cream ....and of course dill...

Ingredients:

2 cups of pasta

6 oz real goat or sheep cheese

6 oz non dairy sour cream

A handful of dill

A little bit of organic butter

Cook the pasta , mix the cheese and the sour cream till becomes a smooth creamy texture, add dill...strain pasta, rinse with cold water, which removes the starch... place it back on the stove add the butter, warm it till butter melts, and add the creamy cheese...


Instead of turning to a boxed Mac and cheese make your own version at home...once you try this version of it, I know you are going to love it, you will feel good after eating it as well, and your tummy will be happy!
